For generations, Jewish athletes, leaders, and innovators have shaped the world of sports. The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum honors their achievements and preserves their legacy for future generations.

Located at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack, New York, the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame celebrates the stories, achievements, and cultural impact of Jewish athletes across generations and across sports.

About the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame

The National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum, located in Commack, New York, was established in 1993 with its first annual induction ceremony. The Hall is dedicated to honoring American Jewish figures who have distinguished themselves in sports while fostering Jewish identity through athletics.

The Hall of Fame commemorates sports heroes who have emerged from a community not historically associated with athletics and celebrates their remarkable contributions to sports culture and achievement.

Honorees represent a wide range of sports including football, baseball, basketball, boxing, fencing, figure skating, golf, hockey, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, wrestling, and many more. In addition to athletes, the Hall recognizes broadcasters, writers, coaches, and sports leaders who have shaped the sporting world.

Today, the museum features over 160 honorees, each commemorated with an individual plaque and story that captures their accomplishments and contributions to sport and society.
